​Plasticien engagé, Boris Jean fonde son art sur le recyclage et la préservation de l'environnement. Après des études de cinéma et une collaboration avec le dessinateur Moebius, il réalise Les Épaves, un court-métrage grand prix du Festival d’Avoriaz. Parallèlement à son activité de chef-décorateur il créé LittleBig, un univers miniature poétique conçu à partir de matériaux recyclés, qu'il photographie et filme en jouant avec la lumière inversée. 

Depuis 2014, il anime des ateliers artistiques centrés sur le recyclage et l'éducation à l'image. En 2020, en partenariat avec l’ESA et la NASA, il réalise Astrolabe, une installation immersive qui met en lumière la fragilité de notre planète.

Committed visual artist, Boris Jean bases his art on recycling and environmental preservation. After studying cinema and collaborating with the designer Moebius, he directed Les Épaves, a short film with a grand prize at the Avoriaz Festival. Alongside his work as a production designer, he created LittleBig, a poetic miniature universe designed from recycled materials, which he photographed and filmed while playing with inverted light.  Since 2014, he has led artistic workshops focused on recycling and image education. In 2020, in partnership with ESA and NASA, he created Astrolabe, an immersive installation that highlights the fragility of our planet.
